Mélodie de l'Amour

The perfumer's father speaks of the immense presence of love in one of his poems: "Love is like a flower blooming in an empty room". I wanted to create a perfume that would represent the purity of love, full-bodied enough to literally fill up the space around the wearer. Regarding the perfume’s name, when I used to play the violin as a child, I especially loved
Edward Elgar’s “Salut d’amour”; I wanted to associate this memory with a fragrance that would represent that fulfilling melody of love.

She composed this perfume mainly around a grand, memorable bouquet of opulent white flowers (Gardenia, Tuberose, Indian Jasmine), framed by Peach, Broom, and Wild Honey accents, while a base of Musk and Virginian Cedarwood grounds the composition, providing it with additional depth and complexity.
