The opening is bright and zesty, cardamom giving a faint spiced edge to citrusy clementine and grapefruit. Iris and lilac form a powdery, slightly green floral heart that never tips into sweetness. The base settles into soft narcissus, sandalwood and cedar, with a clean, almost soapy musk running underneath — a restrained, close-to-skin composition that reads as sincere rather than showy, and wears equally well on anyone.
