Yves Saint Laurent Yvresse is a legendary fruity chypre fragrance designed for women, celebrated for its unique, festive, and sparkling character. Originally created by master perfumer Sophia Grojsman in 1993, the fragrance was famously launched under the name "Champagne". However, following intense legal objections from French champagne producers over the protected name, YSL officially renamed the perfume to Yvresse (a play on the French word ivresse, meaning intoxication or elation).
Today, the scent lives on as part of YSL Beauty's La Collection heritage line.
